DASKALIDÈS, A TASTE OF HISTORY

Daskalidès is characterized by a family tradition in the production of quality affordable chocolate products.

After the Greek family Daskalidès-Kestekides established in Ghent in 1923, Daskalidès produced and sold craft-made pralines. Later, his son, Jean Daskalidès, would take over the lead and conquer the international market. At the same time, Daskalidès makes a strong brand thanks to the strengthening of the craft industry. Daskalidès, led by Alexandre, son of Jean, was awarded in France with the prestigious Laurier d’Or de la Qualité because of the exceptional chocolate quality, the beautiful shape and the excellent taste.

To date, Daskalidès is in the hands of another Ghent family, Temmerman, who has a rich history in confectionery and chocolate since 1904. The deliciously flavored and stylish Daskalidès range now stands at the top of quality chocolate products, with distribution points throughout the world.
