PAPA DASKALIDÈS OPENS THE TASTIEST PLACE_TO_BE ON VELDSTRAAT: TEAMROOM FIRTZ. AND LAUNCHES THE BRAND’S FIRST ARTISANAL CHOCOLATES THERE.
1979
SON JEAN TAKES OVER THE MANAGEMENT. DASKALIDÈS IS ALREADY MAKING MOUTHS WATER IN 40 COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE.

Fact: Before entering the family business in sweets, Jean earned his stripes as a gynaecologist, jazz musician, hospital director, university lecturer and film director.
